In 2 years, when the Carolina Panthers begin looking for a new head coach now that Ron Rivera is entering the final year of the contract extension he signed in January 2014 to the tune of approximately $4M per year...

Yes, I said it. Please try to remember this is a Jerry Richardson-owned team and coach's contracts are guaranteed. You honestly believe JR will cut Rivera loose owing him about $12M less than one full year after giving him the extension?

The Los Angeles Panthers finish 13-3 behind MVP QB Cam Newton, winning their first Super Bowl in franchise history. LA's superstar athlete becomes the new face of American sports. North Carolina turns BOA Stadium & surrounding facilities into a summer workout facility for the hometown favorite Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Seattle SuperSonics finish 64-18 behind MVP Kevin Durant, who was swayed to return to his original NBA city by Michael Jordan, winning their first NBA championship in franchise history. Back in North Carolina, fashionistas continue to wear gaudy purple and teal clothing covered in an oversized cartoon bug as they clinch to their meaningless childhoods.
