Mike Remmers - Perfect Pass Blocking Grade

The question becomes, will he become a better starter at RT than Bell was? If so, then we only need a LT for next year and it allows us more options in the draft. Cooper or Collins 1st then BPA and maybe an OT in rounds 2-4. Or we could potentially ignore OT early in the draft and sign the best FA with Hardy's money. Norwell and Turner can be our guards and Kalil is set for now and we could have a solid line, and KB and Cooper starting and Philly as the #3 then we could turn our focus to defense with the other money we have left and in other rounds of the draft and we get a competent offensive coaching staff whether it be HC or OC or both, boom Super Bowl.

Logically I think Bell should stay because even if we have 2 guys we think are better than him, he could still be a backup. Now if the staff is fired and the playbook is brand new then anything is possible because Bell won't have the experience card in his deck.

Also there is a human element and if Gman wants to soothe the mob, there is no better way to do that than cutting Bell.

if he finishes out the year strong you have to at least consider the possibility of remmers being in the mix for the starting RT spot going in to 2015.  we've got him dirt cheap through next year to boot.

I don't know if I like the notion of him being a full time starter next year, but he might make good depth if he keeps it up.

Of all the holes on this team and with 4 weeks remaining hoping this guy picks up and the other positions of need can be addressed.

Bell can go to the bench, IMO, and do better from there should a new LT be found.  Remmers at RT ain't going to kill ya.

They don't have to cut him. He is on a one year deal currently.

Bell is not gonna except being a backup. remember how long it took him to sign his damn tender? The guy actually thinks he is better than what he really is. Let him go think that somewhere else.

He wanted multiple years because he's worried about his long term finances. Anybody would want the same. I never got the impression he was cocky I think people are reading into his body language because they don't like him. Cam deals with the same sorts of things.

Just finding one, just one OT would be nice. I still lol at pff grades, even though remmers looked ok. What troubles me is that maybe the best game played by a panther OT.......... a undrafted guy that's been on five other teams in his short career and was on another teams PS...... plus he wasn't even supposed to play if suckilatio gotten injured. Very sad.
