Time of posession is one of the most overrated stats EVER. Eagles are a perfect example. I think it was last week (actually almost every week) where they just got demolished in TOP, yet they are already up by 21. Well, what's the fuggin use of winning TOP when you are already down by a big margin.

 

Now, in some instances, it is neccessary, but not every freakkin game.

No one has ever said TOP is most important stat. Efficiency is.

TOP plus efficiency is hard to beat and can make defensive statistics look better than actual defensive performance.

If you don't have the efficiency on either side of the ball it doesn't mean very much
