You say forget hardy but you can't when evaluating dave this year. Hardy would have been a very important piece. We could have had back to back division titles

Even with Hardy, we were one half of tampa bay football away from losing that game. If Josh McCown would've not been asleep in the first half, we would've lost.

No matter what Hardy could've done, our starting offensive line, in whatever fashion they wanted in the beginning, never gave us a chance to win football games. Also, a year of film on Shula and our awful offense allowed everyone to catch up.

Coming into this season without atleast some options in the secondary and the offensive line, and hell, even on special teams.

I don't like Gettleman either. I think saying that this year is going to be hard and then not fielding questions during the year is a way to avoid scrutiny, showing he has no accountability. I don't know if I would fire him though, but I sure as hell would tell him if this poo happens next year, to gtfo and don't look back.

No....a league's worst OL and secondary talent isn't an 8-8 team.

We had Hardy last year and we significantly got worse on both sides of ball from that team he was on. Hardy is that good that he negates a joke OL, brand new WRs (no speed) and a joke secondary.

The oline is bad. No denying that. But who is in charge of the tackles on game day? Rivera.

QB, LT, WR, MLB, DT, DE are probably the 5 most important positions in the NFL. Carolina has a player 26 or younger at each of those positions minus LT who is primed to be top 10 at their position for the next decade. Kuechly, Hardy, Lotulelei have a chance to be the very best. Add a top pick to grab a stud LT.

Hate to break it to you, but we don't "have" Hardy. He can go as soon as free agency starts. Or do you honestly believe they are going to re-sign him and/or franchise tag him again? That is the only way he could be a Panther next year.
