About those punt blocks and blaming the players....

Here they are in slow motion...

The first one is absolutely Minnesota's coaching staff taking advantage of something they saw on film. Notice no outside rushers, everyone is in the interior. The player that blocked the punt went untouched. The Panthers were woefully unprepared for this formation and strategy by the Vikings.

100% on Rodgers and he should be held accountable.

Here is the second one....

This blocked punt is a direct result of the first blocked punt. Jacobs is confused, keeps to the inside thinking the same thing may happen again. Instead, the rushers are more spread out to the edge and blows by Jacobs. Yes, this was Jacobs fault, but you can't tell me he couldn't have been better prepared on the sidelines by the coaching staff.

This, folks, is just horrible horrible coaching.

I just posted this somewhere else but maybe it's more fitting here.

Head coach Ron Rivera typically holds two practices during the off week, but the Panthers are 0-3 coming out of the bye under Rivera. So in an effort to find something that could snap that streak and the team’s current slump, Rivera gave his players five days off after their lone practice of the week on Tuesday.

In comparison, the Rams practiced blocking punts all week because they knew they found a weak spot.

Sometimes I think the NFL pays JR to field losing teams. They seem to leave things other teams see on the scouting report wide open just like when Sproles knew that they leave the middle of the field wide open.

These things only make sense if you're planning to lose. The Panthers certainly aren't game planning to win. "Yeah, take five days off! You guys need not practice." Tired of ownership throwing seasons away on purpose(it would seem). Everybody in the audience can see what their doing wrong but them.

The coach continues to point fingers when he should take responsibility. We don't care how "mad" you appear Ron the results are the same. The QB takes responsibility every loss. You should too

    • Well, I'll be damned. Good call bro. 75 yards up the creek from the house. A big chunk of the creek bank let go and slid off into the creek. It looked like maybe 6-8 feet of dirt on top of bedrock and once saturated it basically slid off of the bedrock like a playground slide. I'll post up pics when I can upload.
    • His azz dawged it last night...collected a check...happy that ho is gone...
    • Look I get you are wait and see on Canales and that's perfectly fine but comparing him to Rhule is off base brother. And I do not see significant similarities to the Arizona win from 2021. They honestly are strikingly different. All you have to do is dig into the numbers. Our starting QB that game was PJ Walker who had 167 passing yards on 29 attempts with no touchdowns and one INT. Cam attempted 4 passes for 8 yards. Not one single passing touchdown in that blowout win. By comparison we had 166 rushing yards and one of those touchdowns was Cam's "I'm back!!!" run for a score. Looking at that game obviously it was a mirage and not sustainable because it is a passing league. If that game compares to any other I would say it would be the Lions win with Wilks. Now look at the Raiders win. 319 passing yards 3 passing touchdowns 114 rushing yards from Chuba 1 rushing touchdown from Miles Sanders. That's a balanced offense. That's what we've been asking for going on years now. But I will agree with you they absolutely do need to prove it wasn't a one off and build from that win. I'd love to see it. We'll just have to wait and find out.
