I assume that Shula won't be back next year regardless. If you don't fire Rivera this year, how the heck can you expect to attract a good offensive coordinator going into next season given that there will be no sense of job security on the coaching staff? Fire Rivera now or at the end of the season, hire a new coach, and let him choose an offensive coordinator who he believe in and who believes in him.

They aren't forums, Mr. Scot, so it's like comparing apples to oranges.  I can't really compare comments on sports blogs and other media publications to this site.

Ron is a nice guy but I don't want him making decisions on game day. Would love to have him as a DC under different circumstances.

I don't know how anyone could look at him and see a "head coach" at this point. Glad the Panthers gave him a chance, but he's proven he can't coach, especially when it comes to making in-game decisions.

Riverboat Ron aka "Desperate Ron" won coach of the year. Contract Extension Ron brought Ron Rivera back out of hiding, and who he really is at his core is a guy who coaches scared unless he has nothing to lose. A guy like that should lose his job. He's too unstable as a coach.
