Curious, how did Mike Remmers do at RT?

Mike Remmers, RT, +0.8

Breakdown: With just four career snaps under his belt, Remmers replaced the injured Nate Chandler at right tackle this week. His overall performance isn’t going to turn any heads, but a perfect day in pass protection is practically uncharted territory for Carolina’s offensive tackles this year.

Signature Stat: The three tackles to play significant time this year for the Panthers all have a Pass Blocking Efficiency of 94 or below. While it’s been just one game, Remmers is currently at 100.

Eh, Stewart and Tolbert did well, Williams continues to kill drives with his shitty running.

Tolbert had 5 yards on 2 runs. For the year he has a total of 16 yards on 15 attempts for a .9 yrd/att average. How is that doing well? I think your prejudice is blinding you.

What's really bad he came off someone else's practice squad and he was better than chandler has been all year. Speaks volumes about our coaching staffs ability to evaluate talent.

DG was right ... the answer was already on the roster ... just happened to be another team's roster.

Seemed to be an adequate stopgap for 1 game.  Curious to see how he does for the rest of the season.

We're just talking about yesterday, not everything else prior because before injury, Tolbert hadn't run well.  That said, even at 5 yards over 2 carries, he ran alright.  He had a good short yardage run when the vikings loaded the box.  Still, Deangelo is the continual drive killer.  I'm afraid for us to have a chance in the future, Harper, Decoud, Williams, and Bell all have to be cut just to force Rivera to not use the same turds.  Seriously, those 4 players, with significant playing time, would not break 2 deep on almost any other team in the NFL.

Close to half time he started to kick in

pretty basic but he did better than Bell did... bell got blasted... by speed and strength. Kalil and Turner had some great bright spots.. only 2 with a solid future?

Only two? Norwell isn't part of your future. Should be.

WE have to address OT regardless of whether Remmer shines. We should have a whole new OT section next year. Remmer and the Foucault are probably the only two I would keep. Bell isn't going to help us as a back up if he continually gets whooped.
