Curious, how did Mike Remmers do at RT?

Didn't he tackle Stewart in the backfield early in the game? It might have been somebody else, I just caught the end of the play, and I don't think they showed a replay.

Chandler should be cut at the end of the season. Remmers, or any OT signed of the street is better than Chandler. I'd rather play Fua at RT.

Chandler did reasonably well at guard and is fairly cheap, so I'm fine with keeping him as a backup. He should not, however, be considered a starter.

Other than the false start and opening series, I thought Remmers was fine.  Not saying he has the makings of an All-Pro, but at 25 years old, I'd like to keep him out there for the remainder of the season and see if we can have a Norwell-esque find at RT.  Way too early to tell if he is a 16-game/year starting NFL RT, but also too early to say that he couldn't be.  

 

I thought he did well enough to continue the experimentation phase.

Says a lot about our coaching staff doesn't it? I'm curious to know if the collaboration between Gettlemen and Rivera on player evaluation is as real Gman says it is. Gettlemen has to take the blame if he signed off on allowing Rivera to start Bell and Chandler at OT, granted he couldn't do very much with the money he had. I'm also curious to know whose idea it was to sign Harper and Decoud in FA as safety help?

Gross after the weight loss is still better than bell. The color green is a better LT than bell. 6 out of the 7 dwarves are better than bell (it'd be 7, but one is asleep).

pretty basic but he did better than Bell did... bell got blasted... by speed and strength. Kalil and Turner had some great bright spots.. only 2 with a solid future?

Knew Bell would struggle more than Remmers...called it actually. Glad he did better than the trash we usually have at RT
