WR or OT

The real question is will an OT of value make it to the 2nd round. Considering our luck in the 1st round, are you guys willing to trust our record on 2nd round picks to be the blindside protector of Cam?

The only record in the 2nd round that matters is Short and Ealy.  Short's already a stud and Ealy is improving.  He looked good today, comparably.  Saw some pressures, he was the reason Kuechly was able to get his first sack.  Solid in the run game.  So yes, I trust our current trend of 2nd round picks.

Kevin White or Cooper. You don't pass on a potentially elite player to take a need. Especially as high as we'll be drafting. I question whether any of the OT in this class are elite.

trade down for more ot picks. we are three drafts late and a dollar short.

You simply dont draft according to need.  If you do, you end up with Eric Fisher or Luke Joeckel.

better than ending up with Byron Bell. We haven't drafted need in what 3-4 years and now we are 3-4 years behind .Geniuses.

Yes, draft according to need , draft the best player you need.

i'm leaning WR.  we need vertical speed at that position terribly.  i'd want to see us possibly double dip at OL in the 2nd and 3rd to sit behind a veteran.

this means turning to free agency in order to get byron bell planted back on the bench.  michael roos could potentially be had as a solid under the radar type signing depending on how his recovery goes.  outside of that it's slim pickings at OT in free agency again which means that the likes of bryan bulaga, tyler polumbus, and king dunlap could get big contracts if they're turned loose.

I just want a major allocation of resources this off-season going towards the offense for a change...

New OC

maybe 2 more Pass catching Options

and at least 3 Olinemen (2 OT) added to the roster.

Not that salary cap is the only resource available to a team but there is some myth on this board that all of our resources are spent on the defense. We actually have more cap space allocated to offense.

Take the RB's who haven't played a full season since 2010 off that list and see how the money looks then..

Just on the Oline - Dline comparison alone we have more drafted and high round picks on the Dline then Oline even without Hardy...
