What do you do with a guy like Keenan Allen

I've got one guy that shows up every week at WR with Antonio Brown. He pretty much saves my games every week like Calvin Johnson did last year. At WR2, I've been platooning Allen and Sanu. I mean I haven't started Allen much since September because he was absolutely fuging pathetic, but at least Sanu was consistent as long as AJ Green was out. Now he's back and Andy Dalton is being a giant piece of poo lately and is not the least bit interested in getting Sanu the ball it seems. Allen actually did decent last week even though he lost two fumbles because I had no choice but to start him. The problem is that it's complete potluck of who's going to have a good game between the two of them. They're so inconsistent and unpredictable. Everybody else on my team I kind of had a good idea of who was going to have a good week but not either of them. My question is who would you start next week(?) because the playoffs are beginning and I don't want to start a player who's going to blow a popcorn fart while the other guy gets me a bajillion points on the bench. I play in a 16 team league so there's nobody of value in Waivers or FA. Sorry about this post looking more like a rant than a cohesive written piece but I'm fuging pissed because leaving Allen on the bench probably cost me 100 dollars.

    • And really, it should be 4 reasons with the last one being that there were ZERO other offensive weapons on that team in 2024, opposing defenses only had to worry about one player all year long and they constantly double and triple teamed him right off the snap all season.  In 2023, we still had Jacob Cowing who had 90 catches that year and was drafted by the 49ers last year, so teams couldn't just send everyone after T-Mac on every passing down.
    • I wonder if the Hornets view Kon and McNeeley more as forwards and plan to ship off Green/Okogie/Smith for center help. I hope they don’t plan to ship off Sexton as I like what he brings to the team. (2) G - Ball, Mann, Simpson (two-way) (3) G - Sexton, Dinwiddie, Connaughton (3) F - Miller, Knueppel, McNeeley, James (two-way) (3) F - Bridges, Williams, Salaun (3) C - Diabate, Kalkbrenner, Plumlee
    • 3 main reasons he was better in 2023 and none of them concern me for his NFL prospects 1. Totally new coaching staff that was a massive downgrade and had god awful play calling and designs, the entire fan base was ready to run the coaching staff out of town a month into their first season and the play caller ended up getting changed because it was so bad. 2. Along with the staff downgrade, his QB played significantly worse after being the Pac 12 Freshman of the Year in 2023.  Constantly missed T-Mac when he was wide open, lost out on a number of TDs and a good amount of yardage, half the time T-Mac still almost made miraculous catches on the bad passes too. 3. He hurt his ankle over the summer and missed all of fall camp only to return to practice a few days before the season started and I think he had to deal with it all season long and was slightly limping at times mid season too, but kept fighting through it to still be a 1st team All American.
