Rivera: "individual breakdowns" responsible for blocked punts

Sometimes I wonder if being a "good dude" is more of a hindrance than a help in football, or most sports for that matter.  Perhap we need someone who is not a good dude.

You were military, who made the best officers? The ones that wanted everyone to like them, or the ones that maybe were sort-of dicks, but knew their poo and you could trust them to make good decisions?

Riv is a player guy. I want the asshole that holds everyone responsible, including themselves.

Well, the Ass kissers were the worst and no one liked them.  :)

But I agree.

Also "it was disheartening to play so poorly after the bye" per J.Jones

"Disheartening"? Is this football or his time of the month?

What does YOUR HEART have to do with anything, Ron? You're the head coach, not the HEART coach. It's your job to "figure it out."

Someone fire this guy. I've always had a problem with him trying to feel his way through the job instead of thinking his way through it. But what would you expect from someone blind?
