Does Cam want to go?

I noticed this a few weeks ago where it seemed he didn't want to be on the field and the lack of protection would make you be that way.

Now I just think he wants out of here. Im sure his handlers have gotten in his ear and says his brand would be bigger if he were in Houston or Miami or the Jets.

He might be pulling a reverse Latrell Sprewell. Instead of hating where you were so bad you choke a guy, he is sandbagging and distancing himself so much he probably hopes to get traded.

There are several guys on that list that have subpar WRs like Cam had in 2013.

But none have worse coaching!!

Fact!

Rivera's never been a great game manager, motivator.  And Shula has never been a good OC.

And it's true. The Panthers/Cam had a below avg OL, below avg RB's, and avg to below avg WR's, along with a poor OC. And note, Cam's had this situation his entire career, including his first two years.

No one with Newton's stats and performance (two Pro Bowls) had all these things piled up agaisnt them since he came in the league.

Sometimes it appears, some fans only see the results, and can't actually watch the games and notice what comprises the results.

I still can't get over that Cam slide near the sideline. All he has to do is flick the ball over the line of scrimmage for an incomplete pass and no yardage loss. Instead he falls down for a 2 yard loss. His lack of awareness is just so frustrating.

And the funny thing was it was a text book slide which I've been harping about him not knowing how to do and risking injury the way he lays himself out as a target after a run. He finally slides when he clearly should have dumped the ball off. It is official, his brain is Carred.

....this organization has really poo all over Cam. Terrible OC's and coaches with crummy philosophies/schemes. see New England and Brandon Lafell. There are some things that bother me about Cam... The accuracy thing which seems to have been a problem all along, his decision making abilities with the ball and most important his leadership attributes. All of those can be fixed. But the one stat that worries me is the fact that hes a Heisman trophy winning QB. Only 2 of the 20 that won the award over the last 40 year were worth a damn.

Cam Newton has won a championship every where he's ever been. The guy is a winner. He got stuck on a bad organization. The same organization Andrew Luck ran from and look how it's paid off for him.

Some of you would be very surprised to find out that Cam won't draw as much attention in FA as u think.

We're not talking about Peyton manning or Tom brady.

We're talking about a QB with a losing record and who can't find an open receiver to save his life right now.

I'm sorry but I can't find an open WR either that isn't a 2 yard check down. And that's using pause, rewind, and fast forward.

Wait, are you counting the slop time prevent defense throws?

No actually.

Good point.

I was more pointing out Bridgewaters 130 total yards, and the 2 early TD's that were gifted to him.

I don't think neither QB was great, including Cam. However, certain Panther fans are going to pick on Newton, as if they would perform well under that clusterfug.

Quite honestly, I felt the Panthers had a chance to win during the 2nd half. However, I knew the coaching staff would play with no urgency, as if they really wanted to win. And they didn't.

At this point I really don't care if he leaves or not. There are bigger issues with this organization than irratic QB play. I really don't get attached to players as they come and go. Cam has given us hope that we may, I stress may, have a solid QB for the future but it's not looking like we have a competent staff that can develop him.

If a new staff is brought in and they decide to go in a different direction at QB then so be it. I will not rage if Newton is allowed to walk and he thrives somewhere else, which is possible. My desire is to field a competitive team every year. Not one that shows up every other year. Whatever that takes is what I'm rooting for.
