I still can't get over that Cam slide near the sideline. All he has to do is flick the ball over the line of scrimmage for an incomplete pass and no yardage loss. Instead he falls down for a 2 yard loss. His lack of awareness is just so frustrating.

How about we surround him with talent instead of crap and see where he ranks before we judge that. We have atleast 3 years to do that...

....this organization has really poo all over Cam. Terrible OC's and coaches with crummy philosophies/schemes. see New England and Brandon Lafell. There are some things that bother me about Cam... The accuracy thing which seems to have been a problem all along, his decision making abilities with the ball and most important his leadership attributes. All of those can be fixed. But the one stat that worries me is the fact that hes a Heisman trophy winning QB. Only 2 of the 20 that won the award over the last 40 year were worth a damn.

If Cam ever leaves........... we'll be stuck with a Gabbert or Clausenesque type of qb..  since we,  as a franchise,  do not believe in building around qbs..  We'll be switching out qbs on a year to year basis..

 

While Cam will go to a team that has a decent  Oline,  decent receivers,  OC and a run game........and tear it up.

I'm sorry IMO it's easier to be a QB when you get 2 TD you had nothing to do with..

It seem like it helps your QB to not have to make a critical pass every drive.. You can take what the defense gives you when you're not down 2 TD (no fault of your own by the way)...

And let's not discuss the drops right??

The game I watched only saw Teddy make 2 good drives all game and get help from a bogus penalty on 1 scoring drive.

Agreed, but Cam's passer rating in 2013 wasn't that great and we had the 2nd ranked defense. The Huddle thinks Cam is elite and he isn't at this point in his career.

We're talking about a almost 90 passer rating with no running game, avg. pass catching threats, being sacked 44x and Mike Shula who has never been a OC of a top 15 offense in his coaching career..

I hope Cam stays but the way he's played this year, I don't spend any time worrying about it. Cam let a rookie QB outplay him today and the Vikings are just as much of a train wreck and have zero talent on offense.

Good point, but Bridgewater connected on some long throws too. Anyone that objectively watched this game would agree that Bridgewater outplayed Cam.

I think he was #13 out of 32 QBs which I guess isn't that bad, but not great.

if im dave. i say yes. cam asking makes this totally different than us trying to unload him.  his heart isnt in it anymore and i dont blame him.   we play anderson at qb for a yr while stocking up and getting our money right.  if im dave i see this as an option.

 

also, on the subject on anderson.  arizona is in desperate need for a qb.  do you think we get an offer?  what would he be worth?

There are several guys on that list that have subpar WRs like Cam had in 2013.
