Does Cam want to go?

If we upgrade the Panthers team next year and Cam still has the same problems of being accurate, slow making decisions, poor pocket presence, not able to run like he once did, then I would expect Gettleman to start looking elsewhere for a new starting quarterback.

I truly like Cam as a person and hope he is our long term answer at quarterback but what he's showing this year, is he that he's a good athlete but may not develop into an NFL quarterback you can depend on to put a team on his back and make them an annual playoff caliber team. The ball is in Cam's court and the time clock is winding down on whether he will be paid the large salary a top NFL quarterback command's.

Cam ran for 49 yards today averaging 5.4 yards per carry. That's pretty much his career average. I think Cam is fine. His problem is that he doesn't trust the o line, and he's getting nothing from the WR position outside of KB who dropped another one in the red zone. Give him a legit coordinator, and oline and you'll see that Cam again.

Give him another weapon in the pass game and he can be a elite passer as well.

What these clowns don't understand is you can't send a QB on the field with poo and expect him to make it look like the 90' Cowboys..

What he's showing is what every QB in history shows when they don't have..........

1. Avg. OLine Play

2. Few weapons to throw to...

3. Non consistent running game

4. Poor Playcalling

5. Other parts of the team breaking down (Like the Defense and Special teams have done)

.....One player can't carry a team in the ultimate team sport...

Name me 1 QB who had to play with all this crap and had success????? Just 1.

Not to mention all NEW wrs that he didn't even have a chance to practice with.

I hope Cam stays but the way he's played this year, I don't spend any time worrying about it. Cam let a rookie QB outplay him today and the Vikings are just as much of a train wreck and have zero talent on offense.

Notice the safe quick throws Teddy had. Designed that way. His WRs actually made people miss in the open field. And they got open.

I forgot Cam gave up 2 special teams TD today and Teddy didn't give up any...

Good point, but Bridgewater connected on some long throws too. Anyone that objectively watched this game would agree that Bridgewater outplayed Cam.

Didn't Cam's offense have more yards then Teddy's???

Cam also passed for more yards then Teddy's as well.

Cam was 18 for 35 and Teddy only had 6 incompletions. Also, Teddy made some key throws at critical times during the game.

I'm a Cam fan, but he hasn't played well this year.

I'm sorry IMO it's easier to be a QB when you get 2 TD you had nothing to do with..

It seem like it helps your QB to not have to make a critical pass every drive.. You can take what the defense gives you when you're not down 2 TD (no fault of your own by the way)...

And let's not discuss the drops right??

The game I watched only saw Teddy make 2 good drives all game and get help from a bogus penalty on 1 scoring drive.
