Now will you STFU about Stewart for once?

He needs touches.

Stewart looked today like he has all season long. You want him to grind out yards then send Williams to the bench where he belongs.

He only got the touches today BC Williams got hurt. Nothing more. He has looked better all year....just like today and all the others

I don't know what's so hard to understand about the fact that he needs touches.  It really goes without saying, but thank you for stating the obvious.  I guess that it's not so obvious.

I don't understand how anyone who has been watching can say with any credulity that Stew sucks.  Questions about Stew were never really about "suckiness", they are about his health.  If he can stay healthy and get touches, I believe that he can certainly be a top 10 back in this league.  But, that's just me.  I hope that we get to see next year.

I don't know either. Name any good RB and don't give him the rock and there won't be production. Just glimpses he is better than Williams if Williams get the biggest load

Stew isnt gonna help.  He cant help.  And even if he could why would you want him to help at this point?  Im as frustrated as you by the nonsensical roster moves and rotation BS that we've had to endure.  But I have to ask, since we know Stew isnt going any where, why trot the glass man out there when he will be the guy for the next 2 years?

Now that we are eliminated?

I now want Fozzy to be the bell cow. I also would IR Cam. Letting Fozzy get the reps will let us know if we need to draft someone or not to play with 28 next year.

Only concern then is Luke. Everyone else is a soon goner or needs reps to grow

We are in agreement there.

Yeah I thinks its dwill that needs to go, stew, fozzy, and tolbert can get the job done.

I think that they can get the job done for a while, which is what any sane Panthers fan should be rooting for---not underestimating and/or talking poo about J-Stew.  It's like people have forgotten what Stew can do if he gets the ball any appreciable amount of time.

Like I said earlier in this thread, the question of Stew has never really been about his ability, it's been about his health.  In any event perhaps this will quell the notion that perhaps we need to spend a high pick on an RB.  Would we really draft Gurley in the first or second round?  Nah.
