The Tie

Thanks Shane Graham, next time just make the damned kick! This will definitely cost us a pick, and probably a perennial pro bowler. We'll likely reach and draft an O-Lineman from some obscure Division II school, because he's a "Hog Molly"

This is a rebuild. Reset your clocks to 3 years, and longer if Cam bounces. I seriously wouldn't question him now if he did leave.

As soon as they ended that game in a tie, I said they were done. I've followed this organization for too long not to know what was coming next.

Not ending a game with a loss despite not winning meant their play to follow would result in more losses. It's just like when they hear that another team's best player won't be playing and they find a way to make that team's backups look just as good, or when they hear that a team like Pittsburg can't run the ball or pressure the QB, that team ends us rushing for more yards than it has in years and nearly setting sack records.

If it's one thing this team should be known for, it's taking good fortune and squandering it. A tie was 0.5 of a win (and 0.5 of a loss), but they only saw it as "not a loss." They felt fortunate that it wasn't a loss, and here we are. No wins since.

And I'm not surprised by it. They wouldn't be winless since the Cincinnati game had they won or lost it.

I blame the coach for not being able to recognize patterns like this, and righting the ship. He's just along for the ride "hoping and believing" that it will correct itself.
