4th Quarter Comebacks is a bogus statistic

If these people are having trouble getting play-by-play data of each QB, how the hell am I going to have it?

http://www.nfl.com/

Gives you play by play and drive charts all the way back to 2001. Only problem they had was finding data on older QBs.

As for the results, I don't "want them that bad". I just find it funny the new and different ways people come up with to hate on Jake. And of course don't bother to look up any info on whether their claim is right about him or not, just go ahead and throw that stat out the window if it makes him look good. LOL

ok so in the meantime we can all use marginal statistics to make ourselves feel better about the QB situation

this is a wonderful point you're making thanks for your contribution

AND YES THE QBS deserve ALL the credit for those "comeback victories" since that's the only position of which this prestigious genuine statistic is applied

fug the runningbacks man and the WRs and the Oline they didn't do anything at all it's all the QB's work man

You do whatever you have to do to make it through the day. Myself, I don't need to "feel better about the QB situation". I'm not one of the guys that breaks into tears each time Delhomme throws an incompletion.

HAHAHA It's hilarious you keep saying that crap because nobody else around says anything remotely like that. Yet you find a way to blame Jake for everything that goes bad.

You see guys, a W is due to everyone else and a loss, well that's all Jake's fault... LOL

go find a quote R0CKnR0LLA to prove your point or keep making superfluous interpretations of which nobody cares to consider

also consider the many times people posted "Jake Delhomme won us that game"

You're laughable. NFL.com doesn't have the data required for the 4 phases. Read the 4 phases!

Why are you so focused on Jake? The article named other QBs. It's not the names that are important anyway. It's the realization that this stat is worthless to use as support for a QB that is important.

It has all the data you need to count 4th quarter comebacks based on the basic straightforward requirements. If you're talking about a theoretical under-development stat then I have no idea.

Why are you so focused on Jake?

LOL I'm not the one who brought the guy up, nor do I go around finding new and unique ways to hate on the guy like I have some personal vendetta against him.
