Serious Question about righting this roster

Nope. I'm not one of you people that switch their opinion about someone every other year. I have said this from the beginning. I have always doubted his consistency and accuracy since he has gotten here and it has not changed.

every quarterback is an average quarterback behind an awful offensive line, but hey you keep showing your outstanding football knowledge. the carolina panthers have been in existence for 20 seasons and he has been the best quarterback in qb history. only took about 20 years to find a franchise quarterback. jake delhomme was an average quarterback. if you think jake delhomme and cam newton are on the same level well there is no point in taking your opinion seriously. trading cam newton sets this franchise back even further. so yes lets do that because this franchise has such a rich history of success and we should be open to waiting another 20 years for a quarterback of his caliber.

Like I have said all along yet people keep bashing me for it, trade Cam for a buttload of draft picks because it is going to take a lot more players to field a good team than an inconsistent QB. You know how much a team would give up for Cam just for the name alone? A whole lot. Cam is replaceable regardless of what these blind Cam homers say how good he is.

Do you even know my argument? YOU DON"T PAY AN INCONSISTENT QB THAT KIND OF MONEY. And you just admitted that Cam has consistency problems. And you wouldn't just be talking about one draft pick. You could get a king's ransom for Cam. Hell, if you can get 3 first round draft picks for an unproven college QB (RGIII), then there is no doubt you could get the same for Cam. All I'm saying is, you would be better off loading up on draft picks and filling many areas of need instead of paying Cam 100+ mil and not being able to sign anybody else.

No, he wouldn't. Ryan Kalil is the only starter who'd even have a job with another team. A line made of rejects is a dumpster fire waiting to happen, and until we fix it, nothing will change.

Quite a bit. Jaguars would take a chance, Browns would too, Giants (Eli is getting up their in age), Bills, Philly (you don't think Chip would jump at that?), St. Louis, Jets, and more. All you need is that one team that will give up a lot, which I think they would. The ONE team that I am afraid of getting Cam is the Eagles because Chip would turn him into a legend. Too bad our dumb asses didn't even try to get Chip (who I wanted really badly that offseason).

Not sure what the cap situation is in Atl but I wouldn't be surprised if Cam ends up there. It's his hometown and he already said he roots for them when they aren't playing us.

That's your opinion, and not a very well informed one either.

Of all the factors creating problems for this team, he's just about the absolute least of our worries under the circumstances. If you can't see that, then you are intentionally ignoring what everyone else is witnessing to simply serve your own agenda.

We have pieces in place, and we have our QB. We need to protect him, and get a competent staff who are capable of not only developing him but creating game plans and calling plays which play to the strengths of our personnel instead of repeatedly trying to force the same bullshit down the throats of defenses that clearly isn't working and no one else is falling for.
