Same thing I just said about SF, winning changes everything. If Carolina can start winning then it'll change this, but heaven forbid Williams takes this seriously and maybe a little personally. I don't think the time it takes him to type 140 characters or less is detracting from his preparation or focus on winning games...I don't mind players sticking up for their team in the media.  Especially a guy that knows he's not going to be a Panther next year anyway, shows personal and team pride regardless of the circumstances.

did he have to say anything? why not just keep his mouth shut? if he wants to prove dilfer wrong, score on sundays. poo, just run forwards and gain yards instead of lose them.

this is no time for bravado. this is the time to just shut up and win...that is if you can. nobody is going to gain any real confidence by someone on the team talking big like that. the only thing that is going to help their confidence and morale is winning.
