You have to understand that it's a question of now vs later.

 

I absolutely think they'd want him back this season if it were possible.  He was already under contract when the s--t hit the fan, so now they're paying him 13 million to do nothing while our defense has no pass rush.  Absolutely they'd want him back this year, but that's not gonna happen.

 

Beyond this season though?  Bill Voth said that even before everything blew up, that wasn't likely.  Given what's happened since he got tagged, pretty much nobody believes they're gonna risk making him a big money offer again.
