You can about any involvement he has here

Did you see episodes 1- 3? Other than Natalie Portman in the white outfit, there was virtually nothing in any of those movies worth a damn. I'm not sure how you can consider me retarded for not wanting to pay for a Lucas POS after the last trilogy. Just because the trailer looks cool doesn't mean it won't be another steaming pile in the Star Wars series.

Your idea of the prequels ate a lot different than mine. The prequels are what drew me in as a child.

Any involvement is too much for me. I have no faith in his judgement after Jar Jar.

Lucas has virtually no involvement in this movie.  He was asked about his general idea of where he would've liked to went with the story after ROTJ, but he has absolutely no control over the movie.  They could literally say, "No George, that's fuging retarded, go home".

And still, you're being a bit dramatic.  For all his faults, George is still a creative genius, he just needs to be reigned in and have certain boundaries... just like he was with the original Star Wars.  There was a group of people that flat out told him when poo was stupid and wouldn't allow it into the movie, yet kept the actual great ideas he still came up with.

George is good at coming up with a vision, he's just somewhat poor at executing it.

The prequels are the result of a straight up unfiltered George Lucas surrounded by yes-men.  The situation here with the new ones is literally no where near the same thing.
