I love how all these people seem to have opinions that have never met the man. I have met him and know a number of people that are on a first name basis with Big Cat. In my opinion he certainly cares about winning. He wants to win the right way though. He's not perfect but he's a good guy with a strong moral compass.

Also, who cares if he CARES about winning or not? Who cares if he's a kindly old soul, a veritable Santa Claus? He has failed worse than only a handful of owners when it comes to the on-the-field product.

 

That's the most frustrating thing about living in North Carolina. The only metric we have to judge Richardson on is how well his team has performed under his ownership: and it hasn't.

Gentleman is the laughing stock of the NFL for cutting Steve Smith. There isn't a damn person outside of this message board and the city of charlotte that thinks it was a smart move.

King, Mcnutt, Avant, and Underwood. You and everybody else hyped those guys up all year and none of them are even on the team anymore. 3 didn't even make it to the start of the season.

Among misinformed fans and media, yes.

Among decision makers of other teams, no. Somebody quoted an article awhile back that stated other teams tried to get deals done before us because our team would screw up the market for free agents. We were the laughing stock of the league way before DG got here.
