So 49ers CEO Apologizes and Takes Blame for Thursday Loss?

our GM told us last year that we were going to go through a couple of years of cap hell rebuilding. do you need them to tell you that once a month to make you happy?

This isn't about Trent Baalke though. Jerry let Hurney stay after Fox was gone and he let a former journalist kill our team. Funny cause I sort of remember Rivera saying almost the same thing you just said in 2011, the year of the supposedly "Rebuild". Whoever the CEO of our team is the one that should be apologizing

Meanwhile we're sitting at 3-7-1 with numerous blow out losses and nobody up top has said a word yet? No accountability at all. Sad they force our players to take all the blame as if its not a total team effort. 9ers is looking they'll get rid of Jim and this organization will actually keep moRon as our head coach

What I found interesting is that JH took over the offensive play calling yesterday.

I like his fire. I hate that Ron is always emotionless.

Would love to have JH on board.

Tom Landry never so much as smiled.  Bill Belichick doesn't exactly jump around either.

I don't really care how emotional my coach is.  i care a lot about whether he's effective.

Who gives a crap? Apologies and blame accepting don't do anything to improve a team. Talent, execution, and strategy do. This touchy feely world of coaches and exec taking the blame publicly only matters in the world of message board complaining.

When it isn't effective, you need some fire.

That's my thought anyways.

Also, JH proved he can win in the playoffs.

"Fire" all the time gets old, fast, especially when you're dealing with adult professionals with guaranteed contracts.

It's much smarter to save the anger for when it's appropriate.  It has a bigger impact then.

I see where you're coming from. But you have to admit he would be an improvement over Ron.
