Be at my buddies house to meet up for an early tee time, play 18 and enjoy a few beers, then show up back at home for a feast the wife prepares, more beers and football.

I'm doing kind of a combo of the suggestions. Smoking with a dry rub, but also injecting with Cajun butter and stuffing with cornbread stuffing.

Brine turkey for 8-12 hours. 1 cup salt, 1 cup brown sugar, ice water.

Stuff Turkey with homemade stuffing.

Dig a hole in yard.

Line hole with cinder blocks.

Build big ass fire in hole.

Smoke weed and drink beer with your dad while fire burns down.

Add metal rack to hole and place Turkey on rack.

Cover hole with plywood.

Cover plywood with tarp.

Cover tarp with dirt.

Stand around and smoke weed and drink with your dad for about 6 hrs.

Uncover hole and pull out Turkey.

Eat.
