As dumb as Mike Smith can be...

Mike Smith is showing us that he has the ability to learn and make appropriate changes and take personal responsibility. All we hear is "players gotta execute". When you shirk the obvious you lose trust and respect. Own up. Nut up! Stop hiding GM! Speak up! Step up to the mic

What if Ron came out and said "Hey, this all falls on me because I'm the head coach and Im gonna do what I need to do to right this ship". Cam does it EVERY loss.

I do not agree with you. Did u watch the game last night? Gruden said Harbaugh wants to make sure smith is locked up in the offseason.

He's got two years left on his contract. I'd say for a 35 year old that is as locked up as you want him to be.

I don't care if you agree with me or not.

You are the one quoting Jon Gruden, and not even caring to look up if he is still under contract next season.

Didn't he admit the mistake after the Buffalo game last year?  I am not sure.

Basically yes he did, I referenced his comments in the thread about Jason Avant being cut.

The problem is, we are here over one year later, and he is still making the same mistakes that cost us games. This time though, he's not owning up to them. Is it pride or ego getting in the way at this point? I like Ron as a person, but he has been too inconsistent as head coach.

Smith made the same mistake in the Detroit game. He won't change anything. Don't herald this retard for his comments.

He might be making the same mistakes over and over like our coach but at least he isn't throwing his players under the bus and refuting his own incompetence like ours.

Refreshing, but our coaching staff doesn't analyze during the game and won't after.

RR certainly won't admit being wrong since his career isn't on the line at this point with that contract he has. Maybe after a few years...

Mike Smith is on the hot seat isn't he? Kind of have to admit bad decisions so he lets the FO know he's aware and fix them. (I don't follow ATL so I don't know if he's deep in a contract or not)

Can't fix mistakes if you won't even admit to their existence.
