Your kidding right?! Do you actually think this team is mentally tough enough to win in a hostile environment in below freezing weather?! What dont you guys understand about this team has completely mailed it in?

This team has given up, checked out and mailed it in. You people cant tell this by simpy watching this team play?! This team played with more sense of urgency during pre season then they are now.

We will win one more game this season against the Bucs and thats it and frankly, they better be glad im giving them that one. Im sorry but this franchise has nothing going for it whatsoever heading into the future.

Rivera isnt going anywhere, we dont have a new GM to look forward to, that joke of a QB we have now will still be our QB come next year, this Panthers team totally sucked my interest of football, i didnt watch a single game yesterday and enjoyed every minute of it

I find it utterly hilarious people want us to tank for a draft pick.

 

I love the argument of "well if we didn't suck so hard in 2010, we wouldn't have gotten Cam".  You are 100% correct, this situation is different being that we ALREADY HAVE CAM.

 

In terms of personnel (as in, not our shitty coaches), our biggest glaring weakness is our utterly inept offensive line.  Do we have other issues?  Absolutely.  Listen, I don't care if the next John Ogden is coming out in this draft.  One player, no matter how good, is not going to fix the woes of the offensive line.  Want proof?  Last year we had Gross, who played really freakin well and our oline was still trash.  The best lineman we have acquired since Cam has been here was an undrafted guy by the name of Andrew Norwell.  Then you look at the bust rate of recent top OTs... Jake Matthews has been unspectacular, Jake Long has been a solid underachiever, Greg Robinson is delegated to backup guard duty, Joeckel and Fisher have done nothing, Matt Kalil has taken massive regression...

 

Sure a few guys (Tyron Smith, Joe Thomas) have lived up to their name, but this a crap shoot.  We need depth and multiple new starters on this line and we need to take MULTIPLE avenues to acquire these men via draft, FA and UDFAs.

 

Why win the South?  How about making the playoffs two years in a row for the first time in history?  How about breaking this NFC South "Curse" of a different team winning the division every year?  How about rallying to a WINNING record at 8-7-1?  How about being a desirable landing spot for quality FAs?  How about teaching our guys what it takes to win in the playoffs?

We have an extremely flawed team that needs improvement across the board, but we aren't going to get any better by only being able to land a studly first round pick and suck at everything else.  If anything, Marty Hurney should have taught everyone how useless it is to hit a home run in the first only to strike out at every other at bat.

I want us to tank so we can pick at the start of the 2nd round so we can draft Cam's replacement, the top 5 pick in the 2nd or 3rd rounds seem to be the sweetspot of drafting a solid QB, if Gman cares anything about this franchise he absloutley must draft Cam's replacement this draft.

"We already have Cam." Thats EXACTLY why we must tank, to draft Cam's replacement, it wont be hard to find an upgrade over Cam seeing as how terrible he is
