RIP KB's OROY chances

KB has made some pretty incredible catches too.

The catch was amazing and one of the best I have ever seen but one spectacular catch does not make one season.   KB has pretty much put up the most consistent numbers this year.  Only a couple of games with little production.   He might not win but he'll be in the discussion without a doubt.

There were some on here pre draft comparing obj to smitty.

The guy is a massively talented player.

I actually thought Jarvis Landry compared more closely to Smitty pre-draft. I think their toughness and mentality makes them really similar. Landry made some pretty spectacular catches in college too, he will still have some in the pros.

Incredible play, but Odel is not going to win OROY.  It is down between KB and Evans, and even though I love KB, Evans is the best Rookie Wideout.  I mean look at who is throwing him the ball, and look at what he's doing.  It's just further proving that Manziel was made by Evans not the other way around.

If they finish with similar stats, and Carolina somehow wins the South while TB stays at the bottom, KB would finish well ahead of Evans.

KB is our #1 option with tons of pressure and has been fairly consistent all season while making some insane grabs. Evans is a #2 and playing with JAX and was nonexistent the first half of the season.

If KB finishes strong he has a great shot. Of all the WRs he's the only one that came out of the gate firing. He's the only one that's been consistent all season.

Well aren't we fortunate that the award rides on more than one play.

With that said, Mike Evans is coming into his own as is Watkins, Beckham, Robinson, Matthews, Cooks, and even Jarvis Landry, Martavis Bryant, John Brown, Allen Hurns, Davante Adams, and Taylor Gabriel are putting up solid numbers.

That draft was very deep at wr. Hopefully ealy pans out bc there were some great wrs in the second round. If KB fixes his drop issue he'll be a great wr, but it doesn't look like he'll be the the best in this draft

Evans has 80 yards more and played in 1 less game than KB due to injury, and has the same TD total.  While KB got the brunt of the focus as a #1, Evans had a turd sandwich throwing to him, and that can hurt regardless of what other weapons are around, just look at Sammy Watkins.  Look, you're not gonna find a bigger KB supporter than me, his ceiling is better than any rookie including Evans, but right now, Evans is the best Rookie Wideout even if he is on a turd team.  Will he get the award?  You're right, he probably won't because of how bad the bucs are, but he is probably the most deserving.
