Lets be real.. if im 5'8 and hanging on by a thread my bitch ass isnt helping anyone either.

LMAO exactly what I explained earlier. Brett Favre, douche for not helping, he was on his way out with a HOF career. LeBron, would be a douche.

Captain....a nobody wanting to stay relevant.

He he had short man'a syndrome.....like 89. We always knew that.

We always knew that...Who is we? because what I know is that he felt he had something to prove because he was shorter than most corners but also because he was a 7th round draft pick. What I did not know and is what I posted on was that he would not be willing to help a fellow teammate.

Nope. Couldn't be more wrong.

Except for the fact that he was a starter last year when we had the #2 defense, meanwhile our defense was is so bad we had to call Norman off the bench. The same Norman that rode the bench in that #2 defense. So yea I'll take captain please.

The same captain that was absolutely shredded in the playoffs. Last year this team had a pass rush and helped mask the secondary deficiencies. This year there is no pass rush and the corners are getting picked apart except for josh Norman. Norman has impressed me in back to back games. He played well against both Maclin and Julio. If you think Captain would thrive in the defense this year then there I'm at a loss to what to tell you.

If you want to use the logic that captain is better then Norman because he played over him last year then you must also believe tyler Brayton is better than greg hardy and Charles johnson. Just so you know it is possible for young players to improve and get better, which josh Norman has. It could have even been argued Melvin white was playing better than captain last year.

Like I stated earlier, if I was Dave Gettleman and the Vikings called and offered me captain for Norman straight up I would laugh him right off the phone.

munnerlyn got chewed up constantly on the outside.  he's a nickel and always will be best there.  i didn't really notice much of a drop off when bene was healthy and holding that spot down either.

norman was in dumbass rivera's doghouse and is currently proving that he deserves to start on the outside right now.  he's better suited for that than captain was.

Exactly. Captain was a solid nickel back but absolutely dreadful on the outside. Calling him absolutely dreadful on the outside is one of the bigger understatements of all time. Nickel backs are replaceable and I think Bene will fill on admirably. Terry Cousin was one of the better nickel backs i ever saw and he wasn't beloved like captain. Lets just call it like it is captain munnerlyn sucked and was loved on here because he went to South Carolina and was 4 feet tall.

2013 Grade: +10.1

2013 Snaps: 992

Captain Munnerlyn is another cornerback who came into his own in 2013. He was always a solid special teams contributor, but his play at corner finally lived up to expectations this year. His overall grade is a culmination of his balanced play. He graded positively in all phases; penalties, coverage and in run support. Despite being a little undersized, his +4.8 run grade tops anyone in this Top 10.

With Carolina being pretty close to being capped out and having the task of trying to resign Greg Hardy, Munnerlyn could be playing for a new team next year.
