Josh Norman: Munnerlyn Never Helped Me

Captain was damn good nickel CB. Not his fault he has no talent and asked him to play on the outside. Dude could have flawless coverage.....height difference with those matchups was just something he couldn't control

Also, people need to bump the breaks on acting like Norman has surpassed Captain. He hasn't yet. Nickel Captain to date is still better and more proven than Norman

I'll take outside Norman vs. a nickelback any day of the week.  Munnerlyn was a hack.  Was always a liability in coverage.  At least Norman has size and the competitive fire to get in on the fight.  Captain was always out of position.

Next week we get to see 6'6 Kelvin Benjamin on 4'3 Captain. I'd target him over and over and over and over until they start double teaming Kelvin. Then start throwing deep bombs to Philly.

But, because I hope the majority of our fan base sees that as the best idea...  that won't happen.

Kinda like passing on the worst secondary we'd played in awhile... or running against a horrid (at the time) Steelers Dline that couldn't stop the run... or passing against the Ravens when their secondary wasn't all that great when we played them. Ya know.. common sense stuff. That doesn't happen here as of late.

Oh well... maybe I'm a lil jaded. We'll see what happens I guess.

Tf does this have to do with Smitty? Some of you are so salty I swear. The dude HELPED this team;he didn't hurt it.

Short man syndrome is that is has to do with Smitty. and that's been mentioned numerous times while he was still on the team (hell, when both were still on the team)

And numerous times it was mentioned that Smitty DIDN'T HELP the younger guys. Like Farve with Rogers...

But yeah... LOL

Kinda does. He spent his time making others happy, is that a douche move?

I've had numerous players sign autographs, and they stayed for ages to sign as many as they had to. But, you also can look at it this way... As you mentioned in the post above this one, "They both have egos". Well, signing autographs for "hundreds of fans" doesn't feed that ego, does it?

BTW, I'm not hate'n on any of the players mentioned in this thread. Hell I sat next to Capt.'s family win ATL last season (and have pictures). But, as anyone at a job they love, and want to progress in, some people can be absolute asses while working at their place of business. But, a great person outside of said job.

Take it for what you will.
