I love how the author tries to use INTs as a reason why Munnerlyn is better. Hey! Did you ever stop to think QBs threw to Captain a lot because he sucked? Most of his INTs were basically handed to him also.

He did win the award for best defensive back in college. Seems like DBs are on their own for coaching though

Yea doesn't surprise me....it looks like we have had a  few of those guys that don't really put the team first and just do their own thing and not help out.

 

Sure its a competition and jobs are on the line but most of the top teams have guys that mentor and assist the young guys. Like Cotch was saying about the Steelers mentoring the younger guys. Pats, Broncos, etc have players that do the same.

Never liked Captain at all. I have heard a lot of bad stories about him and I don't think I was ever more excited to lose a player. I personally thought he was awful and never understood why he was so beloved on these boards. He was also on the record saying that he doesn't think what AP did was wrong and he would have no problem doing the same. This story doesn't shock me at all.

He's a 5'8", 7th round pick, he has to do something to get an edge. The guy probably doesn't stick in the league this long if he isn't a feisty prick.
