I've seen bad passes from Brady today that his receivers caught anyway. One was behind Gronk that he spun to catch. Benjamin probably wouldn't have even tried to catch that one. Saw one short one where the WR broke tackles and got about 10 more yards after the catch.

 

So Brady threw the pass 5 yards, but his stats will show like 15 yards on that one play.

 

Funny how for some people it's "just the QB" only on the Panthers.

Doesn't change logic. It's not all on the QB, and there has never been and will never be a "perfect QB." Receivers still have to make plays sometimes before the catch and definitely after the catch. 

 

No one should need to watch any other teams to understand that.  

 

As for "overthrows." I maintain that if Cam played with a Julio Jones, a good chunk of those passes landing 3-5 yards in front of his receivers would be catches, lol.
