Great article on Cam's future in Observer today

I do not see the talent on the offensive line except for Kalil….just my opinion but isn't it critical to have a line that can give Cam time and opportunities to not get sacked every other play??  Biggest risk they took this season which is absolutely KILLING the offense….I agree that getting KB and Dickson will help but unless the line does its job...

the line played good enough last week. But the offense wasn't good enough for three quarters. QB wasn't good enough for three quarters, coaching damn sure wasn't good enough.

ATLs defensive line and pass rush is horrid though. It was a collision of patheticness in the trenches last Sunday.

I still don't know of any other franchise who literally gutted their starting quarterbacks entire WR core entering a contract year.

While also simultaneously going into the season with potentially one of the worst OL's in the history of the league.

If someone else can think of a comparable example, I'd like to hear it.

That was my concern off the bat with the huge turnover at one position.

The future comes down to the next off-season.

Yeah, unfortunately it's not just the personnel.

I think we could have gotten by with our receiving group if we did a little more for the OL, and actually had an offensive staff with some imagination and real ability to *gasp*, develop a QB. Rivera is too hands off with his offense, unless he is pissing the game away at the end.

Its a message board about Panther football and the team is 3-7-1. What else do you think people would be doing at this point? Sharing recipes?

Besides up to the point he posted that ridiculous comment, there had been no whining. Only facts.

Yea, I didn't and don't mind the Dickson signing at all.  It was cheap and had potential.  It didn't work out, he hasn't done anything, but as someone else said it's the same sort of gamble we took on Ginn last year that worked out well enough for us.  The biggest problem with the offensive supporting cast is the OL.  It's inexcusable to think that Bell and Chandler were good enough.
