Wesley makes the move to safety

This was something I thought could happen a long time ago - even in his first stint with the team - but it never did.

(till now, apparently)

The move could be a good one. Wesley is likely a better overall backup/special teamer than Quinton Teal and it would allow the team to make more use of Captain Munnerlyn as a fourth corner and return man.

Good move, he's not a very good coverage guy and he's a very good ST'er. Plus...he's cheap.

Not a bad move by any means. The guy has good size with some coverage skills. Especially if we end up using a lot of 8-man, that will come in handy if either safety needs a break.

He is alot better S then he is a CB. Captain Munnerlyn and Martin played just as well if not better then he did last Monday. You could tell he was getting picked on by David Carr and the second string for sure.

Maybe as a Nickle but I think Martin and Munnerly also are good. Its gonna be a hard fought battle. One things for sure though say good bye to Mr. invisible Nate Sally.

I would say Rod Woodson, I thought Charles was still playing corner last year. I know one of their safeties got hurt last year and he may have played some safety towards the end of the season. Not sure if he is staying there this year.

Regardless, good to see the staff making some moves.

Its not like he is going to start or anything. This is simply a move that will keep him on the roster because they like the younger guys. I would imagine Teal would still be the first safety off the bench.
