To be fair Stephenson was a heck of a lot better shooter last year, you can't compare the player he is this year to last year because it's night and day.

That's like comparing Bulls Jordan to Wizards Jordan.

Speaking of ignorance, didn't you want to tank last year?

Last year Stephenson shot less than 25% from beyond 4 ft.

I saw a breakdown chart on a Pacers forum this summer before he signed here. Most Indy fans didn't want to keep him. He shot less than 15% between 4-15ft, & took more shot there than 15+ ft. All of his points came from lay ups and free throws. Lance has always been a terrible shooter.

His shot chart on Vorped says differently and they literally log every single shot throughout the season.

Umm I'm horrible at math but how in the sam heck are you getting 15%?

That's also not terrible.... It's average and for a player that creates his own shot (not spotting up and hitting a shot in rhythm), it's actually pretty good.

What's your point? You said Lance was a better shooter than Nick Young, which is laughable and makes you look stupid. Hell, even Gerald Hebderson is a better shooter than Lance. That's freaking pathetic. Lance Stephenson is a terrible shooter. In fact, he's probably got the worst jump shot of any guard in the NBA outside of Rubio & Rondo. He cannot shoot. He's a bum. I'd be willing to bet that MKG is a better shooter than Lance this season. And no, Lance's ability to drive does not make it okay. Just watch the games. Teams leave him open because he cannot shoot and they clog the lane preventing him from effeciently driving and scoring.

Outside the Paint (2013-14; vorped.com)

Young: 40.7% FG (273-671)

Henderson: 37.3% FG (256-687)

Stephenson: 35.3% FG (189-535)
