Greg Olsen on first take tomorrow

We have multiple hands of stone TE's on the roster that are collecting a check for the purpose of blocking yet we want our best receiver I PERIOD standing in the backfield blocking DE's while all of those other guys watch from the sidelines. They so know we can play more than one TE at once don't they?

There should NEVER be a passing play when Greg Olsen is on the field where he isn't running a route.

I swear I don't know why this is so fugging complicated.

that would make it easier for defenses to key on what's happening.

But I'm sure you thought of that.

Perhaps I'm mistaken but it seems like the defenses are pretty well keyed into whats going to happen with this offense already,  or haven't you noticed that?

Or perhaps you are saying that having our best receiver run routes on passing plays actually gives the defense an advantage relative to having him standing beside Cam blocking defensive linemen.

If having your best receiver always be an option on passing plays is somehow allowing the defense to "key" in on whats happening then every successful offense in the league is doing it wrong.

Sounds like something only Mike Shula could dream up.  You sure that isn't you?

Greg is a stand up guy.  Not like we didn't know that already.  I like that he dug in a bit more than I anticipated.  Good stuff.

You could tell he really got his back up a little bit a couple of times but he kept his composure nonetheless.

Yeah a couple of moments I caught a little twitch and he looked like he wanted to smack fire out of Stephen A.
