  1. 1. Which would you rather see take place?

    • We win the division and Rivera keeps his job

    • We lose out, Rivera lose his job, and have a top five draft pick

Vote for losing. Because what would be the point of WINNING? We have already seen what this team looks like against good teams like the Packers and even the Eagles who just got stomped by the Packers. We all know how this will end if we happen to win one of the worst divisions ever. We will sacrifice a top 10 or maybe a top 5 pick, bring back an inept coaching staff staff and possibly say goodbye to the best qb we have ever had after season 5, because he would want to play for a coaching staff that utilizes him properly. In addition, a high draft pick will put us in a much better position for a franchise LT that this teams sorely needs.

Because we've seen what Rivera can do with a talented roster and continuity.

Oh how quickly we forget last year.

Maybe it's the big man up front who got a little too big for his britches and expected the plug and play method to work no matter who the individuals are.

How quickly you have forgotten what Ron did in season 1 and 2. 3 bad seasons greater than 1 good . Not to mention the same clock management mistakes repeated over and over. This franchise has come to accept mediocrity. Not me. I want a Bill Belichek type for coach. Someone who knows how to win.

I choose lose because I want the Panthers to win consistently and that will never happen with Rivera. I am thinking of the big picture and winning this year will not help us win next year or the year after. How do you fire a “coach of the year” and back to back playoff coach? Answer: you don’t so winning this year means 2 or 3 more years of Rivera and I can’t take that, I love this team too much. The sooner Rivera is gone the better.

Man fug this beta male, entitled, millennial puss of logic.

My Grandfather didn't win WWII so Americans can play to lose.

Buy a soccer jersey and move to Germany if you want to play to lose.

I want to win a Super Bowl.  Sadly I think that the best way to do that is to get Rivera out of here and bringing in an entirely new staff.  Now I am not going to be rooting for them to lose, but I do feel that rock bottom is in our long term interest.

Your grandfather fought in WWII for freedom so buy some winter cloths and move to Russia if you want Communism so bad.

Also what your grandfather did has nothing to do with you, what have you done?

Yeah great logic equating WWII with the strategy to turn this franchise around. Just because we think it's in our best longterm interest to lose THIS SEASON doesn't mean that we won't fight if and when ISIS or AL Quaeda come here and openly start attacking us and our families. Heck as an ex military member, I think that we should kick their @sses now. Why wait? But this conversation isn't even about that. It's about a mediocre to bad football franchise and the inept coach that is holding us back. Let's fix it.

Yeah I would urge patience from the fanbase.  I would like to see the players play hard and put up good stats, but losing in the process.  That way pressure will build up so the organization would have absolutely no choice in letting Rivera go.  In four years, Rivera has shown he doesn't have the guts to go for wins.  All that Riverboat Ron stuff was a fluke.
