That's true it doesn't make him a good player but i believe he was pointing out that Ealy seems to have some fire and aggressive traits, things a good DE needs.

He's gotten a little better. Yes the numbers are very low, but those are not everything to a rookie DLman that gone form inactive list to a good 30ish snaps per game. Most times a rookie wall hits, so Im hoping early can bypass that.

I will be shocked if Ealy finishes the season with better stats than those of even Everette Browns rookie season much less Hardys.

well go figure this,last year Wes Horton had 8tackles and two sacks in 37 snaps and Kony Ealy has 9tackles and one sack in 238 snaps.btw,i will give you a more accurate analysis of Kony Ealys rookie season at the conclusion of the 2014 NFL season.

Hindsight is always 20/20 but I was just using it as an example to show there were talented tackles still out there. Really feel like we should have used our 2nd pick addressing a need. Instead we wasted it on a guy with falling stock in an area at least at the time we were deep at.

I understand what you are saying. But the OT's picked around the Ealy pick (other than Britt) have been poo. None would have been a good pick.

I could make a better case for another WR than OT at that point.
