Several years ago when my daughter was in first or second grade (she's a junior now), a little boy wearing a Vick jersey told her that her Peppers jersey was ugly. We got a call from the school for a meeting. Little head had jacked his ass up against the fence and was talking smack. My husband didn't know whether to punish her or laugh.

I kind of feel like we're growing a bond here, Panthers fans.  Like, soon, I'll be able to lean on your shoulders just as you are able to lean on mine.

 

Panthers fans, just take a deep breath, close your eyes to hide the tears, smile and just learn to say there is always next year.  Eventually, you just let it go and you learn to hate yourself a little bit less every time you say it.

here's the deal - the Panthers are our family. that means we, and only we, can talk smack about them. i can bad mouth them all i want, but the moment someone else does, its on!
