Avant is a choir boy! That's what makes this so funny and sad.  If he's speaking out, there's no doubt that others in the locker room feel this way.  This organization, man.  20 years in existence and still don't have a clue.

Avant understands football. He understood he didn't fit what Philly did.

Who we have in place takes absolutely no accountability. And they need to be fired. I feel like next year we'll be just as bad with our contract issues and serious holes that will need to be plugged. We don't need this staff around only to compound the problems

He's the fall guy.  You can't speak out against management and expect everything to be hunky doory.

 

With that said, I hope the vikings or browns pick him up and he goes off against us in a couple weeks.

 

 

I hope he finds work quick.  What he said needed to be said, and this move won't go un-noticed by the players. I think you can throw a towel in on this season after a move like this.  I'd be shocked if anyone in that locker room wants to play for Rivera, Shula and Gettleman.

Jason is one of the nicest nfl players I have ever interviewed. Was just a bad liar, spoke his mind in a respectful manner.

 

I don't think he was out of line. He was right. Truth hurts.

 

I pretty much have zero respect left for our head coach, and Gettleman is starting to take a hit too.

Yep, it would be different if he was questioning a winning/competent coaching staff. The FO is backing up this embarrassingly bad coaching staff that sucks at its job over players that are actually good at their jobs.

This makes out organization look really, really bad. Sickening.

Avant just schooled Rivera in basic late game football management. That is the connection.

Williams, Harper, etc....all meet the Avant criteria you mentioned too. They just didn't make our coaching staff look incompetent
