Coaches Film - Deangelo can share some blame

1st and 10 on that ill fated series that led to the missed field goal.

Take a look.....

You have Greg Olsen and Brandon Williams out left taking care of business. Instead, Deangelo thinks he can squeeze in between the tackles. 1 yard gain that could have very easily been a first down.

Please, follow your blockers. Awful vision by Deangelo.

Kalil initially had his man turned, so I get what Deangelo was seeing - keeping that block nets a few yards. However, it definitely looked like following his blockers would have resulted in major daylight as well.

This looks a lot like the play they tried to run on 3rd down that was blown up by the DE... Chris Scott pulling, Swole leading through the hole.

This is on the coaches. Both Stew and Foz run better than D-Will and have all year. Stew should be in on crucial plays at the end of the game, not D-Will. Anyone see Le'Veon Bell clinch the game last night? His vision gave him 205 yards and about 5 first downs at the end of the game to keep the clock running. Stew is capable of that. D-Will is not.

It could have been a designed cutback run where he's supposed to get whatever he can in the middle in hopes that the linebackers would run out of the play.

Possibly....but it is up to a seasoned vet to see where the hole is and where the hole is not.  A good RB sees the hole is not there inside and bounces it outside.

Also...DWill falls down as soon as he is touched.  Guy has little Yard after contact.

He is a liability.

How many times out of 10 is that a touchdown with Marshawn Lynch back there?
