Does anyone have ESPN Insider?

ESPN is my homepage and, after clicking the NFL Rumors page because I saw one about Croyle pushing Cassel in KC, I scrolled down and saw one about the Panthers looking into NY Giant cast-offs. I was just curious as to what players specifically it was referring to (more than likely DT) and how credible or likely it sounded

I don't know but the Giants owe us big after all the negative threads we've had to endure after last weeks meaningless loss. Maybe they'll feel sorry about that and give up a good one.

I don't know that you need Insider for that as it's likely just speculation, and just as likely based out of a recent article by one of the local guys (Chandler I think, but not certain) suggesting that we might do that.

As an aside, I've been interested in the story that Croyle might be outperforming Cassel, especially given the contract that Cassel now has.

Makes me wonder whether the Chiefs will keep both or if they'll end up seeing what Croyle would net in a trade to avoid QB controversy and snag a little help or a draft pick in the process.

And before anyone say it, no, the Panthers shouldn't try to trade for Croyle. If they traded the Chiefs for anyone not named Glenn Dorsey, I'd be surprised :nonod:
