MKG and zeller are fine. We still had Kemba so Lillard didn't make any sense. Not going down that road with you again.

His draft picks have been alright and all have contributed outside of Bismack who is the only real bust. I have high hopes for Vonleh and if MKG keeps working on his shot and stays healthy he will be worth that second pick.

Lance was great value for what he has brought to the table but he doesn't fit what we need on the roster as long as Clifford wants to keep running Al-fense.

The good news is the schedule will eventually even out with more opportunities for wins but if things don't change MJ is going to have some decisions to make.

I was Lillard's biggest fan on this forum during the draft and called him EASILY the best player (at present) in the draft.

Even still I let my blinders and need influence who I wanted us to pick ie it wasn't Lillard even though I would have been happy with the pick none the less. Kemba is a solid - good PG, but he is not great or elite by any stretch of the imagination.

You simply can not pass up an elite player like Lillard simply because you have a solid - good player already occupying that position.

Draft picks being "alright" is not gonna get it done especially when you have been drafting high in the draft.

Hindsight is 20/20. Considering the needs on the Bobcats at the time and there were many, point guard wasn't a priority. Would it have been nice? Sure. But I understand why that move wasn't made.

People here hated the Kuechly pick for the same reason. It all worked out in the end since Beason was never the same player, but there was no guarantee.

Bottom line, this is a flawed roster that needs tweaking. Not necessarily a fire sale, but taking assets in overloaded positions (henderson, Neal, etc) and flipping them for positions of need (backup center.) We also need to get healthy. Our best defensive player and one of our only offensive options on the perimeter are hurt.

The east is so bad at the bottom of the seeds that we will still be in it even at below .500. If we are still losing to teams we should beat, especially in conference at Christmas, I think it's time to consider more drastic changes.

Thats the problem, you can only draft on need if best available prospects are on the same level or worse than what you have.

Bad GM otherwise.
