I'd rather have Tom Clements.  I love the way GB mixes short and long passes, as well as how they use the running game.  To me, right now, they have the perfect mix.  Of course, they also have the talent, but Clements has shown he knows how to design a dominant offensive scheme that caters to the strengths of his players. 

 

Of course, I doubt all the offensive minded dreaming will actually materialize.  JR is a conservative, old-school, defensive minded owner who will likely look for another defensive coach...just as he always has.

As to the next head coach, i don't believe Richardson will make the choice.  Gettleman will.  It'll only be up to Richardson to sign off on it.

 

For reference, Richardson wasn't active in the hiring process that got us Rivera or Fox either.  And Dave Gettleman has worked with some successful offensive coaches.

Do you know any coaches that Gettleman has any ties with? I like the idea of Pep Hamilton coming here and being a HC. I think Cam would like the idea as well because he can finally get back to the basics and fix Cam pocket mechanics. It doesn't matter who we bring in if Rivera gets let go it's a must that they have to be on board to work with Cam because he is the franchise QB. The best thing for Cam and his development is to bring someone in here like Pep. I also wouldn't mind David Shaw out of Stanford but that will be tough to get him from Stanford. I wanted Harbaugh back in 2010 and they all have connections with each other. I see Harbaugh heading to Michigan once that job opens up or maybe even Oakland  :unsure:

No. Luck would look like Cam . He would be running for his life behind the worst line ever. With only a stud TE and outstanding rookie receiver to throw too. Besides Shula would waste him too.
