Playing for the field goal today? Or kicking the field goal for the tie vs the Bengals... which we should have lost anyway.

I don't so mind the thought of going for the field goal, but first downs should be the main goal of every snap regardless of time unless youre taking a knee.

 

I just would love to see what a top HC would call when we were crossing the 50 yard line. Most certainly not 3 straight runs when you have a team that can't run the ball, regardless that its our "philosophy"

When they started running it today I got pretty furious because you could see the loss coming

Both were dumb, but playing for the tie vs. Cincy was beyond the pale. Not one person thought Dalton wouldn't put them in position to win and not one person expected Cincy's kicker to miss that easy field goal.

Cincinnati was huge, this was worse. In both instances, RR showed no ability to gauge the moment and go for the win. He calls plays not to lose instead of calling plays to win. There's a difference.

I wouldnt even of had a prob with run plays but three straight runs up the middle, no counter, no option, power, or sweep? Just straight belly? Makes no sense to me...

I don't know man.  That is like choosing death between drowning or suffocating.  I prefer neither.  Do I really have to pick one?

I didn't have much of a problem with the Cincy decision so I would vote for today

I didn't have a problem with the decision against Cincy either.  At the very least, even if you disagreed, it can be explained and I figure most coaches would have done the same.  Maybe not Belichick.  But he's Belichick.
