Does Rivera have a chance at staying another year?

We have seen what Rivera is all about. It's time to move on.

He will be here. He shouldn't be, he is an awful head coach, and never should have been extended.

He'll be back.

He needs to be let go, though.  He has shown throughout his entire tenure here that he is not a HC in this league.  We have lost this exact way multiple times before.  He's not getting it.  He's making the same mistakes he was making in his first year.

 

What I hope is they fire him, and we finally get a HC that knows offense.  Rivera is nothing more than a DC trying to be a HC.  Get him and Shula outta here.

If the season ended today, he'd be gone. Unfortunately, we probably roll off a few pointless wins at the end of the year and he'll end up staying to once again have imaginary battles with hypnotoad on the sideline.

Minus what happened to #76, I think the FO saw all this coming. Maybe not this bad, but they expected a regression. Dave warned everyone at last years end-of-year press conference. IMHO because of this, I think RR will be back, but I'll be surprised if Mike Shula is.

Against who?  TB isn't a gimme at this point.  Minny will be in a freezer.  NO, ATL, and CLE all playing for playoff seeding.

 

The only win we have since week two was due to an RB (Forte) who never puts the ball on the ground doing so, and the tie was due to a piss poor PK for Cincy.

Maybe it's time for JR to look into an offensive HC. You have a super freak athlete at QB and he's being developed by college coaches. As far as Rivera is concerned, he's clearly a DC and nothing more. I think he gets another year tho. If they're this bad next year he's gone
