We can't keep Ron Rivera or Mike Shula heading into bye week after that

let me guess... you looked at the box score, saw that gano had a missed FG, and determined that he was the reason for the loss

because you seem absolutely clueless

Lol. You won't argue on merit, so you'll just insult me. You sure are the better, more intelligent fan!

As opposed to continuing to execute your offense and drain the clock and try to get six points. Being aggressive. Taking control. Not snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

It's been three years and Ron has learned NOTHING.

Or trusting your defense - the only consistent unit in the whole game - to hold. He gave the team a shot, plus another shot even if the FG was missed. Gano missed both tries. Either would have won it.

THEY SHUT IT DOWN AS SOON AS THEY GOT INTO FIELD GOAL RANGE!!!

They had 3 downs, not just a third down play.

They never took a shot to the endzone from close to the 30 yard line after Cam Newton had just thrown two TD passes on the two previous possessions?

Excuse my language, but that is "RETARDED."

Why on Earth would you take a shot for the end zone? The Falcons had two timeouts and 1:30 left! That would be insane to do.

The division is on the line and they played with no balls...just gutless coaching from every facet of the game.  Our players deserve better for how hard they fought today.  OL was decent, passing game got going in the 2nd half, and we were controlling the game.  Rivera and Shula single-handedly lost us this game.  If they don't place any blame on their decision making, I just won't know what to say anymore.

Best case scenario with their strategy: Let's go up by one and give Matt Ryan over a minute to go 50-60 yards with our Cover 3 D.
