Corey "Philly" Brown = Our best WR

When you're a undrafted rookie in your third game against the fuging Steelers, yes.

Uh no and where you were/weren't drafted means nothing once you're in, it's all about production which is why an URFA starts over a 2nd round WR over in Jacksonville.

I will say that Brown should be starting over anyone not named KB but our coaching staff isn't even as aware as the Jaguars lol....even they start the best player no matter where they were drafted.

He never saw the field on the last drive. Bersin did.

1 of the 2 WRs that scored today didn't see the field on the last drive with the game on the line. lol

Um, KB caught the last pass of the game. The one he handed off to Olsen to step out of bounds.

But don't let facts get in the way of your imagination.

If Philly Brown had as many targets as KB then he'd have a lot more dropped balls too.  I'm really glad Philly Brown is doing well, but it's silly to say that he's better.  KB's already at almost 700 receiving yards for the season. Even people who liked him were saying it'd take him the entire season to get maybe that many yards.

Benjamin does need to stop running nonchalant routes.  Won't argue that.  Needs to catch more consistently too.

,,,KB isn't really set up for  the slant route guy...but hey keep trying to jam it in there..Philly is more suited for that.. but Shulong doesn't seem to understand...

Doesn't quit on routes. Hasn't dropped crucial balls yet. Speedy WR.

I'm calling it now ;)

I would have to rate Benjamin our best WR,even though he makes his share of rookie mistakes and has several dropped balls. This Panthers team isn't going anywhere this year,so i would like to see Philly Brown and Stephen Hill get a lot of playing time the rest of the season.Who cares if Hill has a drop or two,at least he has the type speed a safety has to honor and not cheat up to the line of scrimage trying to stop the run.

    • I forgot about Jackson...definitely elite.  The sad part of your list is that 2 of them were 'there for the taking for the Panthers'.  Rumor has it that Hurney loved Herbert and was vetoed on trying to trade up.  And rumor has it that Frank & McCown wanted Stroud.  I believe both rumors.
    • I went on a solo elk hunt in the Flat Tops. It was awesomely miserable. LOL It was a late season hunt, I think third season and it was forecasted to snap off cold with highs in the upper thirties and lows in the single digits. fug it, I'm going anyway. They were wrong. The highs were in the low 20s and the lows were in the negative teens. I shivered so hard the first night I thought my teeth were going to break. It was the only time I've ever been legit concerned that I might be in trouble. Crawled out of my sleeping bag and got a fire started and suffered through the night bundled up next to the fire. I slept the next two nights literally wearing every stitch of clothing I'd brought with Nalgenes full of near boiling water in the bottom of my sleeping bag. That was the only way to have non-frozen water in the morning anyway. There was about a foot of snow on the ground and the melt/freeze crust was almost enough to support your weight but you'd go crashing through just as you went or make your step. It was exhausting travel and every step sounded like a rifle shot. Hunting was basically impossible. I never saw an elk in those four days, only saw 5-6 deer. LOL It was brutal but I loved it. Absolutely beautiful country that is never been to before and haven't been back since. I needed that four day complete break from society fighting for my life against the elements. I'm weird like that.
    • The lack of production is especially surprising given how much effort the team put into coaxing the best from him.  In just six short years he’s had the opportunity to work with 3 different GMs, 7 different head coaches and 10 different starting quarterbacks.  There’s literally no excuse to be made that one of those combos didn’t work.  It might be time to look withIAN.
