If Cam Sucks...Then

Cam won't be good for the rest of the games. It starts from the top, but you know that. Good coaches get the best out of their players. They aren't going to help him. The past trauma Cam has endured has all added up to him breaking down this year. A QB can't be great forever with consistently terrible lines and coaching.

 

I've lost track of how many times I've used the phrase 'David Carr effect' this season.

Do you guys want to know why Cam doesn't suck? Watch the past 3 years. QBs don't magically suck after great rookie seasons and showing improvement the following 2 seasons. This season is all the result of enduring bad lines for the past 3 years and bad coaching. We need a whole new staff and shore up the line during the offseason.

I realize you're programmed to say the same things over and over, but pay attention. The oline are doing well today, the running game is doing well. ONE SINGLE ASPECT is not doing their job today.

I guess you're referencing kalil, but over the course of the season, Kalil has played badly. Very badly. Look at his PFF rankings.

It'll likely mean him learning a new system, but I'm okay with that.

Same here.  As we hopefully start to put better players around him, hopefully he regains the many pros of his game his first 3 seasons.

The OL has got a hurt Cam pounded all year long, including just 6 days ago in Phlly with 9 sacks.  At a certain point a QB breaks down from all the beat downs and starts making bad decisions in the pocket.

Yea exactly. Cam has been taking a beating but still been great. Eventually though the beatings are going to wear him down and he won't be able to get back up. Only moronic "fans" will bash the victim as he's laying on the ground taking the beating without being able to get back up. "Get back up you moron! You fuging dumbass!", as he is getting pounded in the face.

One thing I notice: I think as much as possible, Newton's gonna have to try and throw to Cotchery's body.  He's doing a much better job catching the passes that come to his chest than he is the ones to his hands.

 

I don't think his hands can handle the velocity of those passes.
