Hornets vs Warriors Game Thread

I feel like a troll coming in talking poo on the Hornets forum, but I've been a Dubs fan for 32 years and it's been mostly poo so now that we have a legit squad I get excited.

Most Hornets fans are also Steph Curry fans so don't worry about it. We have much bigger trolls around these parts. I bet you can't guess who....

Although we are losing, we aren't 100% right now in a lot of areas. Kemba's playing hurt. Zeller hasn't gotten his big boy muscles yet and Henderson looks like he's sleepwalking out there. I like what we've seen tonight from Lance and Jefferson. Right now our guys trust those 2 above all else. It also doesn't help that we are playing arguably the best team in the NBA this year.

I just don't understand... we're getting blown out.

Why not let our young guys get in some work? Even if he's made Hairston a "starter" in title, he still could use the playing time. Same for Vonleh.

Maybe later in the year, but right now it's still about establishing chemistry. We've only completed ten percent of the season. Get the guys some reps.

Case in point, Lance continues to improve (and be hilarious.)

How does a team with Al, Lance, Kemba, MKG, Neal, etc get blown the fug out?!?

Several reasons. But chief among them:

On the road.

Back to back games.

That roster still a work in progress, unlike Golden state which remains largely unchanged.

Defensively they match up very well with us. Size at the guard position and a defensive stopper in the middle.

Good point. Biyombo has gotten some minutes and looks like Vonleh is about to get some run....
