Instead of coming in here and making a change he kept going with the flow. You take a look at other RB on teams, there's mainly 1 getting all the carries. No, just gotta do what was done before him

The 28 vs 34 argument is always good for over zealous reaction.

 

Stewart averages 1/2 yard per carry more per rush than Williams this year.

Williams averages about 5 yards more per reception than Stewart this year.

Negligible at best.

 

Stewart's yards after contact are probably amazing.  Someone with a PFF subscription perhaps can shed some light.

 

Stewart is still running with just as much power as any back in the league.  If he had even an average line, his stats would increase exponentially. Moreover, as you should know that great backs need carries to exploit their efficiency.  Give him the carries and he will break down defenses and rip off a good one.

did you read the article? it's a comparison of our two RBs. it it simply saying one is better than the other, not that either one has had much success.

 

 

if you watch the games, stewart is a much better back than williams at this point in their careers. it isn't close... d-will looks straight up bad.

 

our depth chart should be:

1. Stewart

2. Fozzy

3. Williams

Article does more than talk stats....also asks you to use the eye ball test. The eye ball test and how painfully obvious it is....is why the article was written.

Football is never just stats. I think that is what you are failing to acknowledge. 2 guys with the same stats aren't necessarily the same

i made the mistake this offseason thinking Cam could deal with this oline and our defense would remain dominant. that was my mistake.

And that's how it should be, running DWill between the tackles is something only someone as stupid as Shula would do.

As I already said, our coaching staff is horrible on game day calling and putting our players in a position to succeed based on their skills.

This is a 180 degree view thing, not which back runs better using a 30 degree view between the tackles.
